Warner Music pulls videos from YouTube
Early Sat., Warner Music Group ordered YouTube to remove all music videos by its artists from the popular online video-sharing site after contract negotiations broke down.
Youtube is/was a good way to find some new songs online and the spot to be seen online. Pulling videos off of youtube is robbing the artists of free exposure. I don’t think people are using these videos for anything other than posting to other people. the amount of people who strip the audio and video from a youtube video are so small that it doesn’t even matter. Anyway, there’s more entertaining things on Youtube like quality videos generated by individual producers and independent film makers with higher quality content than what Warner or MTV is offering.
