How do I create a survey in Outlook?

It’s very often when you have to conduct a survey on a group. A regular E-mail seems to make it hard to get somebody’s response. Besides the fact that you need to put more effort into how you compose your E-mail, your message should be clear, short, and easy to respond into. Today we will be using a very simple but not very well-known Outlook feature called “voting and tracking”.

Once you have your message open, along the row of icons to the right of the send button, Press the “Options” button to open the “Message Options” dialog box.

The center section of this box has a “Voting and tracking” options that support three different types of answers:
- Approve;Reject
- Yes;No
- Yes;No;Maybe

In the Delivery options, set up your preferences (i.e. have the replies sent to) and you’re all set!

The user receiving the survey must open the email to answer it and will see the question with a place to provide the answer depending on the type of question you’ve set.
